Students will concentrate on information and skills necessary to provide safe and responsible care for children in the absence of parents or adult guardians. This training will help participants develop skills in leadership and professionalism, basic care, safety, safe play, and first aid. This course does NOT include CPR certification. This course also offers practical techniques from pre-job interviews and “tricks of the trade” in creating resumes in the computer lab.
