| Haines Sixth Grade
Center is the school building for Medford Township's sixth graders. It
is adjacent and connected via walkway to Medford Memorial Middle
School which is home to the seventh and eighth graders. Sixth grade
students are arranged into 4 teams for learning. They study math,
science, language arts literary, social studies, health and physical
education, visual and performing arts, Spanish and computers. During
our enrichment period the students participate in band, jazz band, 6th
grade chorus, study skills in the fall and then in the spring the
students can choose from a variety of classes including sports
journalism, marine science and discussion & debate. After school
students can participate clubs such as yearbook, knit & bead, strategy
games and the can also participate in two interscholastic sports
wrestling in the winter and track and field in the spring.
